KAW Chiropractic

KAW Chiropractic is an evidence-based chiropractic clinic at the top of Cuthberts Road in Old Alfredton, on the western side of Ballarat. The practice builds individualised care plans from a whole-body assessment, with an emphasis on spinal function, posture and long-term rehabilitation rather than short-term symptom relief. Back pain, neck pain and headaches are among the concerns the team sees most often, and the clinic welcomes the whole family, from infants and school-aged children through to pregnant patients and seniors.

Practice owner Dr Kieran Wynne holds double bachelor's degrees in Health Science and Chiropractic from RMIT, along with qualifications in fitness and rehabilitation. A member of the Australian Chiropractic Association, he brings a strong background in exercise and injury recovery to his chiropractic work and places a priority on ongoing professional development. Dr Stephen Weightman also graduated from RMIT with double degrees in Health Science and Chiropractic, and has additional training in functional movement rehabilitation and postural restoration, with experience caring for everyone from athletes to older adults. They are joined by chiropractors Dr Timothy Smith, Dr Firas Hasan and Dr Kenny Tse, supported by a practice manager and a team of chiropractic assistants.

Gonstead and Diversified adjustments sit at the core of the clinic's hands-on work. The practice also offers motorised spinal disc decompression, which it combines with chiropractic care once an individual assessment has confirmed it is appropriate for the patient.

Fees are published through the clinic's online booking system. An initial appointment is $120 and runs for approximately 30 minutes, covering a full history, examination and posture assessment, with treatment on the first visit where it is safe to proceed. Standard return appointments are $85. Patients with private health cover claim their fund rebates themselves after the visit. With ample parking at the rear of the clinic, KAW Chiropractic serves Alfredton and the wider Ballarat community.
