The most striking number in this index isn't a price — it's how few prices exist. Of 2728 chiropractic clinics listed on ChiroHub, only 436 (16%) publish any fee anywhere on their website. The remaining 84% ask patients to phone, book, or attend before learning what a visit costs.

For comparison-shopping patients, that makes published-fee clinics meaningfully easier to choose. ChiroHub displays consultation fees on clinic profiles wherever practices publish or supply them.

Methodology

Fees were collected from the public websites of practices listed on ChiroHub Australia during listing enrichment (2026), and from fees supplied directly by verified practice owners.
Initial consultation = the practice's full new-patient visit (examination and first treatment). Where a practice lists multiple new-patient options, the most comprehensive is used.
Follow-up = the practice's standard return visit. Where multiple follow-up lengths are listed, the standard (shortest regular) visit is used.
Advertised ranges use the midpoint. Promotional/new-patient specials, concession rates, non-chiropractic services (massage, kinesiology), mobile call-out fees and imaging are excluded.
Aggregates are medians with interquartile ranges; regions below the minimum sample (15 clinics per state, 12 per metro) are suppressed rather than estimated.
The index reflects published prices only — it cannot observe fees at the 84% of clinics that do not publish them.
