Capital Chiropractic Centre

Capital Chiropractic Centre is a family-focused chiropractic practice in Braddon, just on the edge of Canberra's city centre, serving patients across Braddon, Turner, Reid, Ainslie, O'Connor, Dickson and the surrounding inner-north suburbs. Founded and owned by Dr Winnie Wong, the centre has grown into a well-established part of the local community, having assisted more than 4,200 patients and earned seven Community Business Awards alongside a strong base of Google reviews.

The practice is staffed by three registered chiropractors with complementary backgrounds. Dr Winnie Wong holds a Bachelor of Human Biology from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and completed her chiropractic studies at Macquarie University in Sydney; she has worked across multiple Australian practices, mentors emerging chiropractors, and has volunteered internationally with Hands On India. Dr Isabella Chen earned her Master of Chiropractic from Macquarie University and brings an interest in mobility, movement retraining and community wellness, having provided care to underserved communities in Cambodia. Dr Yoffie Yiu pairs a Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia with a Master of Chiropractic from Macquarie University, with a particular focus on biomechanics and injury prevention.

The team works with patients of all ages, including prenatal, paediatric and athletic populations, and emphasises a transparent, structured approach that moves from diagnosis and clear explanation through to treatment and longer-term prevention. New patients begin with a complimentary consultation, which may progress to a paid examination and a clearly outlined plan, with standard examination and treatment fees explained upfront and no hidden costs. The clinic supports Medicare care plans, DVA, and all major private health funds with HICAPS claiming on the spot, and X-ray services are available off-site and bulk billed for Medicare card holders, making care straightforward to access for the Canberra community it serves.
