The Chiro Crew

The Chiro Crew has been caring for families from its Belair Road rooms in Kingswood for more than forty years, and the practice is now owned by Dr Harriet Walker, who took it on in February 2024. Dr Walker holds a Bachelor of Health Science and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chiropractic, and has since completed certification in Applied Kinesiology through the ICAK, advanced certification in Advanced BioStructural Correction, and study with the Academy of Chiropractic Philosophers. Her approach centres on thoughtful adjustments, meaningful conversations and education, built on the view that the body has an innate ability to heal and adapt when the nervous system is free from interference.

She practises alongside Dr Adelle Semmler, who holds a Bachelor of Chiropractic and an honours Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, and who worked as a chiropractic assistant at The Chiro Crew before qualifying — a familiar face to long-standing patients. Dr Beth Scutt, who holds a Bachelor of Chiropractic and studied in Adelaide before practising on the New South Wales coast, joined the crew in August 2025 and is based at their second practice at Kadina.

What the team has built at Kingswood is deliberately unlike a traditional healthcare clinic. The rooms are full of natural light, greenery and open space, and the frontage carries a Kaurna welcome — Marni Naa Pudni, "welcome, glad you came". The practice looks after people at every stage, from babies taking their first steps through to athletes chasing a personal best, parents juggling busy lives and grandparents wanting to keep doing what they love, and the crew share a collaborative approach built around listening to a patient's story before making recommendations.

An initial consultation is $140 and covers a health history review, a consultation and a physical assessment taking in posture, range of motion, functional movement and neurological indicators, with x-rays available on site when they are needed.
