Ansell Chiropractic Centre

Ansell Chiropractic Centre has been part of the Townsville community for more than four decades, established in Mundingburra in 1982 by founder Dr Daryl Ansell. A Townsville local, Dr Ansell built one of North Queensland's longest-running chiropractic practices, and over the years he has held a notable place in the profession — he was the first North Queensland chiropractor appointed to the Chiropractors Board of Queensland, where he served for more than a decade, and he remains a member of the Australian Chiropractors Association.

From its rooms on Ross River Road, the practice today operates as a small team caring for families across Mundingburra and greater Townsville. The clinic offers treatment for patients presenting with everyday complaints through to sports and workplace injuries, drawing on hands-on Diversified adjusting alongside gentler, instrument-assisted options such as the Activator and drop-piece technique, so care can be tailored to each person — from active adults and athletes through to expectant mums and older patients.

New patients can expect a thorough first visit for $99, which includes a consultation, examination and x-rays if required, with standard adjustments at $65 and Spinal Care Treatment sessions at $85. HICAPS is available on site for instant private health rebates, and the practice also accepts Medicare care-plan (CDM/EPC), DVA and WorkCover referrals for eligible patients. With alternate-Saturday availability and more than forty years serving the region, Ansell Chiropractic Centre remains a long-standing fixture of chiropractic care in North Queensland.
