Taylor Square Osteopathy & Chiropractic

Taylor Square Osteopathy & Chiropractic operates from Suite 4 at 407 Bourke Street in Surry Hills, drawing patients from across Sydney's inner east including Darlinghurst, Paddington, Redfern and the CBD. The practice took its current shape in 2023, when osteopath Gino Lo Pilato handed the clinic over to chiropractor Dr Thomas Lam, who has continued its focus on hands-on musculoskeletal care.

Dr Thomas Lam (M.Chiro, DipOsteoArt, B.Biomed) completed his Master of Chiropractic at Macquarie University and has since added a Diploma of Osteopathic Articulation, dry needling and western acupuncture training, and Isogai Dynamic Therapy studied in Japan; he is currently working towards a Masters of Osteopathic Medicine and Acupuncture. Outside the clinic he is chiropractor and trainer for Indoor Cricket NSW and mentors junior chiropractic students at Macquarie. He speaks conversational Cantonese and basic Mandarin. He is joined by Dr Ji Ho (Leo) Kim (M.Chiro, B.Chiro), who works with Gonstead, Diversified and soft tissue approaches and speaks fluent Korean.

The practice offers treatment for lower back pain and sciatica, neck pain and headaches, and sporting injuries, with particular experience working with desk-bound professionals and busy parents from the local community. Adjustments are typically blended with fascia and trigger point release, dry needling and exercise rehabilitation.

Consultations are $170 for a new patient and $120 for a returning patient. The clinic has a HICAPS terminal for on-the-spot private health rebates, and accepts WorkCover and DVA patients as well as Medicare rebates under a GP-referred Chronic Condition Management Plan. Doors open at 7am Monday to Friday through to 6pm, with Saturday mornings until midday, and appointments can be booked online.
