KingsWilliam Natural Health Care

KingsWilliam Natural Health Care has been part of the Five Dock community since 2005, operating from Suite 6 at 104 William Street on the corner of Kings Road and drawing clients from across Sydney's Inner West. The practice takes a whole-person view of health, summarised in its own words as the belief that when the spine, mind and body are balanced, true health can flourish. Care plans are put together collaboratively with each client rather than prescribed to them, and the team places real weight on education so people understand what is going on in their own bodies.

The clinic is run by two chiropractors, Sarah Buckney and Adriana Puglia, who both practise as kinesiologists as well and are both members of the Australian Chiropractors Association. Sarah holds a Master of Chiropractic and a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science from Macquarie University alongside a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from UTS, and tailors each kinesiology and chiropractic treatment to the individual client's needs. Adriana is also a Macquarie University graduate with a Master of Chiropractic and a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science, enjoys working with whole families, and emphasises that the stressors acting on a body are nutritional and emotional as well as physical.

What sets KingsWilliam apart is its commitment to gentle, low-force care. Adjustments are delivered with instruments such as the Activator, an approach the practitioners describe as suitable for people of all ages, and this is paired with Applied Kinesiology muscle testing to look at structural, biochemical and emotional factors together. Much of the day-to-day work centres on the familiar complaints of Inner West life, particularly back and neck pain, headaches and the postural strain that builds up over long hours at a desk.

The practice publishes a library of free self-help stretching and posture guides aimed at office workers, parents, children and teenagers. Fees are not published online, so prospective clients are encouraged to contact reception directly or use the clinic's online booking system.
