Lifewise Network Care Adelaide

Lifewise Network Care Adelaide has been a fixture of the Adelaide CBD since 2006, when chiropractor Ben Whittall opened his own practice after working alongside his mentor, chiropractor Ken Hull. Lifewise spent its first seventeen years on Gilles Street before moving to its current ground-floor rooms at 50/81 Carrington Street in 2023. The name reflects the philosophy the practice was built around: that our bodies and lives are interconnected, and that it is the inner wisdom of the body that allows a person to heal and thrive.

Ben Whittall holds a Bachelor of Health Sciences from the University of Adelaide and a Master of Chiropractic from Macquarie University, and is registered as a chiropractor with AHPRA. He is certified in Network Spinal and a member of the Australian Chiropractors Association, and has spent more than twenty years working with the relationship between the spine, the nervous system and the whole person. He first came to chiropractic as a patient in his late teens while navigating his own health challenges, and specialised in Network Spinal after completing five years of university training. That background shapes how consultations run at Lifewise, where a complete history is taken before any hands-on work begins and sessions are deliberately quiet, focused and unhurried.

Fees are published openly. An initial consultation is $135 for adults and $122 at the concession rate, with single follow-up visits at $66 and $61 respectively, and ten-visit packages at $560 and $520. The concession rate applies to children, pensioners and full-time students with valid identification. HICAPS is not available on site, though Lifewise issues receipts that patients can claim online through the chiropractic benefits of their private health extras cover, and no GP referral is needed to book.

The practice works with people at every stage of life, from newborns through to older adults, and away from the table Whittall is a father of four, a trained classical singer and a keen bushwalker and rock climber.
