MyChiro

MyChiro is a chiropractic clinic in Bondi Junction, located in Suite 301 at 9-13 Bronte Road, in the East Building opposite Westfield Bondi Junction and a short walk from Bondi Junction Station and the bus interchange. The practice was founded by chiropractor Steven Lockstone, who started MyChiro in 2000 while studying at RMIT in Melbourne and now brings more than 20 years of experience, having provided care to more than 3,000 patients. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Clinical Science) and a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science, and he has also been involved in training and mentoring other chiropractors.

Steven is joined by a team of chiropractors. Morgan Wood holds a Bachelor of Science majoring in Anatomy and a Master of Chiropractic from Macquarie University. John Swane holds undergraduate and master's degrees and has 25 years of clinical experience, while Marko Kapusta focuses on sports-related care, with particular experience working with people involved in mixed martial arts and soccer. The practice offers treatment for patients presenting with back pain, neck pain, headaches and posture-related concerns, with chiropractic adjustments ranging from low-force to applied-pressure approaches.

Assessment technology is a feature of the clinic. The practice utilises the EOS Imaging System for low-dose 3D X-ray imaging and an Augmented Reality Posture Screening App for digital posture assessment, and postural exercises with app-based guidance form part of the care options. A first visit includes a health history, physical examination and an explanation of the findings before any care is proposed.

MyChiro is built around convenience, with a walk-in adjusting model, no lock-in appointments, online booking and a 24/7 Australian call centre. A first visit, covering the consultation and report of findings, is free, and a regular visit is $125. Private health fund rebates are available with HICAPS on-the-spot claiming, and X-rays are covered by Medicare for eligible Medicare cardholders.
