Dr Northwood graduated from RMIT in 1992 with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chiropractic. Originally from Ayr, he returned to his hometown to deliver care to locals after completing his studies. Having been a chiropractic patient since his early teens, he brings a particular focus on wellness care to his work. Dr Ward graduated from CQ University in Mackay in 2018 and worked in Innisfail before joining Chiropractic Care Ayr in late 2019. She grew up on a cattle property near Mackay and brings her regional background to her practise.

The clinic offers various techniques including manual adjustments, Activator, drop piece, and Sacro Occipital Technique (SOT). Complementary services include dry needling, cupping, soft tissue work, and blocking, alongside chiropractic adjustments and massage therapy.
