Review Policy

Review Data Source

All patient reviews and ratings displayed on ChiroHub Australia are sourced from Google Reviews via the Google Places API. We do not collect, solicit, or host reviews directly on our platform.

This means the reviews you see on ChiroHub reflect the same ratings and feedback available on Google Maps and Google Search. We display this data to help patients make informed decisions about their chiropractic care.

What Reviews Are Displayed

For each practitioner listing, ChiroHub displays:

  • Overall star rating: The aggregate rating from Google Reviews (1 to 5 stars)
  • Total review count: The number of Google Reviews the practice has received
  • Review snippets: Selected excerpts from recent Google Reviews where available

Reviews are displayed as received from the Google Places API without editorial modification. ChiroHub does not edit, filter, or selectively display reviews to favour or disadvantage any practitioner.

Rating Methodology

The star ratings shown on ChiroHub are calculated by Google based on all reviews submitted by patients on Google Maps. ChiroHub does not apply its own weighting, algorithm, or adjustment to these ratings.

Where aggregate statistics are displayed (such as average ratings for a suburb or city), these are computed as simple averages across all listed practices in that area.

Listing order on ChiroHub is not determined solely by rating. Factors may include relevance to the search query, listing type (free, enhanced, or premium), and completeness of profile information.

For Practitioners: Responding to Reviews

Since reviews are sourced from Google, practitioners can respond to patient reviews directly through their Google Business Profile. Responses posted on Google will be reflected in the review data we display.

If you are a practitioner and believe a review displayed on ChiroHub is inaccurate or outdated compared to your current Google listing, please contact us and we will refresh the data for your profile.

Fake and Misleading Reviews

ChiroHub takes the integrity of review data seriously. Since we source reviews from Google, the primary line of defence against fake or misleading reviews is Google's own review moderation policies.

If you suspect a review displayed on ChiroHub is fake or violates Google's review policies:

  • Report to Google: Flag the review directly on Google Maps, where Google's moderation team can investigate and remove it if it violates their policies.
  • Notify ChiroHub: Contact us with details of the concern. While we cannot remove Google Reviews, we can expedite a data refresh once Google takes action.
